2023 YOUTH ICE FISHING DERBY

For youth 14 and under. Fun for the entire family

Time: 1:00pm - 3:00pm
Location: Conway Pool on Whately Road

The Conway Sportsman's Club and local sponsors put on this free annual event traditionally held the first Saturday of February school vacation. For beginners and experienced ice fisherman, club members drill the ice holes and share expert ice fishing tips. Enjoy great outdoor fun, stocked trout, prizes for various categories, tagged fish prizes, and best of all great food and hot chocolate! Fishing gear and bait are provided, or bring your own.

There is a limit of one tip up or jigging rod per youth, and a three fish limit. Pre-license age youth (14 and under) from Conway as well as CSC family members (14 and under) are welcome. Prizes are awarded at 4:00 pm, or at the end of the event.

Please, no fishing prior to 2 pm Saturday, or after, the pool is once again closed to fishing at the end of vacation week.

Notice: There is no fishing allowed in the Conway pool at any other time of year.
